Tour de France - Stage 1

Today finally the first stage of the tour starts! They're not yet in France, but in Great Britain. The first stage will most probably end up in a sprint of the bunch. The stage will finish in the city in which the mother of Mark Cavendish was born. He's one of the two main favourites for this stage, together with Kittel, but we don't have to underestimate Greipel. However, Mark Cavendish has never worn the yellow jersey, which he definitely wants today. Today his team will work for him, and I think he can make it. The chances are around 50% in my opinion, so a win @3 is definitely worth a bet.

In the first stages in the Tour, most times there are a lot of crashes. One person who is often involved in such crashes is Greipel (also Cavendish is). With Cavendish, Kittel, Demare and Sagan, as four other top sprinters, in my opinion there is value on the no top 3 finish for Greipel @1.85.

I know the riders already started their trip, but most bookies will have these odds in their live betting.

Cavendish @3 4/10
Greipel no top 3 @1.85 6/10
