Wimbledon tips for today

After yesterday some bad luck with Kohlschreiber who was not 100% fit, today the plan is not to make a loss on tennis. Two bad days in a row is not what I planned to have in the beginning of this blog..., although it is impossible to predict when it happens. Today I will tip 1 combo en some single bets. There is no World Cup tomorrow so there will be more stakes than at the other days on tennis.

Simona Halep will face Lesja Tsurenko, since Halep reached the final of the French Open, she did not have a full preparation for the grass season. She even had to retire in her 2nd match at the tournament in Holland. Tsurenko did already play a lot more matches on grass, and has already done the qualifications in London. Therefore I think that the handicap line (-7.5) is to high!

The older Williams sister who has already won Wimbledon 5 times, is still in the tournament, and she will face Petra Kvitova. When Kvitova is in top form she will definitely beat Venus very easy, but Kvitova is not.. ., since she had to give up in Eastborne. But therefore the odds are higher than you would expect in a normal match between these two players and the line is rather low. I think she might have given up, not to make her injuries worse. Which can also be seen in her first two matches which she won relatively easy.

The combo I place is a combo with 2 men. Nothing really special to announce for those matches, Berdych has more quality than Cilic, and Dimitrov is a bit better than Dolgopolov, who has already played some longer matches.

The last tip is not about a winner of a match or something but I will pick the over in the Anderson - Fognini match. I think the odds for Fognini are too high, but I find it too risky to pick now after the bad day yesterday. It will be a close match, and both are relatively good servers, so long sets and there will be at least 4 I think. But a 5-setter isn't weird either.
